Our Process

Our process is simple. Explain all the details, design and show what the products will look like, and give our best price. After that, we will double-check your contract and project with our team of experts and installers to verify that we meet your expectation. Everything will be done in writing from your first contract to your revised contract with any changes that you decide to make during this process. Our end result…. your happiness with the project.

Stress Free Customer Support

Stress-Free is a wish with other contractors, but at Tom Adams Windows and Carpets it is an expectation. It is surprisingly common to hear homeowners tell us their negative experiences of other contractors (such as missing appointments, or hard sell tactics). Our competitors give vague quotes over the phone, with no knowledge of what really needs to be accomplished to meet your expectations. If this sounds familiar, then you are being stressed out because of a lack of confidence and knowledge of what your project really entails. Life is stressful enough, making a purchase for your home should be stress-free, even fun. Tom Adams Windows and Carpets understand that lack of knowledge creates stress. All home improvement projects start with crystal clear communication. Our discussions are about solutions to your situation and project, no runarounds, lies, or vague answers.

Our Past Work

Our employees are trained to listen to our customers. You know what you want and we need to make your experience outstanding and stress-free.

Step 1
Delivering the Highest Quality of Product and Installation is No Accident
We begin every project with a Needs Assessment of your home. What is your home lifestyle? What specifications do our products need in order to meet your expected performance? What design do you have in mind? What color? What style suits you? What is your time frame and budget?

Once we have your answers, we know how to proceed and meet your needs.
Step 1
Step 2
Design & Explain the Details so we meet all Expectations
We ensure that your home project is laid out to meet your expectations. It all starts with writing a detailed contract that explains all the materials and design features, and installation instructions. The end result of that project will match the written contract. As we conduct our installation, any question can be answered by simply looking at your contract and drawings or by calling your sales representative or installation manager.

Our customers are part of the process, so your input is very important.
Step 2
Step 3
Measured to the 1/8″
All Exterior projects are measured once by the sales representative for pricing. On the second visit, the installer will measure for correct sizing to maximize glass size and eliminate any opportunity for Air Infiltration in your home. Our installers re-measure all homes to make sure that we custom make your windows and doors correctly. Because doing it right the first time, makes good business sense. In all flooring measures, our computer systems and laser measurement does not waste any carpet or flooring. This program makes the job faster, efficient, and always correct with no waste or material for a beautiful project.

Any issues seen by the installer will be discussed and changes will be made to your order in writing, so we have no misunderstanding – ever.
Step 3
Step 4
Everything is Ordered, Let's Confirm an Installation Date
Your contract is written and all measurements are double checked. All questions have been reviewed and answered in writing, materials have been ordered and delivery expectations from the manufacturer were received, and we confirm the installation date(s) with you. Now that we know when we will receive all the materials needed for your project, we need to find a schedule that works for you. We will never partially install or start a project with only part of the job. We are here to start and finish the whole project (only bad weather may slow us down on finishing an exterior project). Our Schedulers are here to work with you, let us know of any time constraints that we should be aware of.
Step 4
Step 5
We Only Use the Highest of Quality Materials

Step 6
Communication is our Calling Card – OPEN 24 hours / 7 Days a Week

Step 6
Step 7
On Time – On Budget
We all have heard the remodeling horror stories; projects that never end or budgets that go out of control with added costs. At Tom Adams Windows and Carpets, after the installer has measured and our scheduler has set an installation time frame – there are no more horror stories. We will complete the job on time. No Surprises. We will keep our contract intact.
Step 7
Step 8
If You’re Happy & You Know It!
Our Sterling Reputation and your happiness leads to repeat business and customer referrals. Tom Adams does not spend millions of dollars to advertise for new business. Our philosophy is easy – Do the job right the first time and people will come back. Our competitors charge high prices not for better products and better craftsmanship but to cover their advertising cost to generate new customers.

To ensure that we are doing our job, we call every installation after the job is complete and ask “Are you happy?” At the end of the day, we want to make sure you’re satisfied with your project.
